NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki S-Cross BS6, which will be launched on August 5, will come in four variants.
We were the first to report the launch date of 2020 S-Cross. The new iteration will sport a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 105 PS of power and 138 Nm while mated to either five-speed manual or 4-speed AGS transmission.
The S-Cross will be offered across four variants namely- Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha of which the latter three get an automatic transmission.
The top-spec S-Cross gets a touchscreen infotainment system with Maruti’s Smartplay studio, dual front airbags, climate control, height adjustment for the driver’s seat, leather upholstery, and for the first time a colour MID in the instrument panel.
The S-Cross is Maruti’s rival for the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, and the Renault Duster. It’s expected to be priced in the range Expected price Rs 7.5 lakh - 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki has also begun accepting bookings for the petrol-powered S-Cross. Customers can book the car at their nearest Nexa dealership or on the Nexa website, against a payment of Rs 11,000.
