Suzuki went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Mets.
It took him 10 games, but Suzuki finally launched his first homer of 2020. The veteran backstop has had a slow start at the plate overall, slashing .242/.257/.394, but that's still been more productive than Yan Gomes. Unless that changes, Suzuki's spot at the top of the depth chart should be secure.
