Moving up through the Civic range, the Sport with the manual gearbox goes for $23,100, followed by the Sport CVT at $23,900, the EX CVT at $24,500, the Sport Touring manual at $28,400, and finally, the Sport Touring CVT at $29,200. All prices exclude Honda's destination and handling charge of $955. Last year's EX-L, which slotted in between the EX and the range-topping Sport Touring, has fallen away for 2021.
As per last year, the Civic Hatchback uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine across the range. It produces 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque in all models besides the Sport and Sport Touring, where power jumps to 180 hp. For the latter two derivatives, torque is rated at 177 lb-ft for the manual gearbox and 162 lb-ft for the CVTs.
