Suzuki is keen to ride the rising wave of maxi-scooters in the country with the launch of their contender, the Burgman Street.
The newest and smallest member of the Burgman maxi-scooter family, the Burgman street, is designed with sophistication, comfort, and practicality in mind.
Being a maxi-scooter, the Burgman Street comes with more sophisticated features like an all-LED headlight, position lamps, and tail lamp behind.
It comes with a body-mounted windscreen inspired by European Maxi scooters, paired with an elevated seater for a better view of the road. It also comes with a fully-flat floorboard to make rides more comfortable whether riders are on sneakers or heels. Riders can also opt to rest their feet higher up, touring-style.
Like the larger Burgman, it also comes with an upward-angled muffler for sporty and premium look. Chrome accents are also fitted in the body panels.
For space, the Burgman Street features a 21-liter underseat compartment for storing personal belongings.
Over in the front shield, there’s a 2-liter glove box with lid on the left side and an open compartment on the right. It comes with a standard DC power outlet and can be fitted with an USB charger. For added utility, there are dual utility hooks; one on the front shield, and a foldable hook under the seat for added convenience.
Starting your journey is easy with the integrated engine start and kill switch. It also comes with one-push central locking.
Easily its most unique trait is the use of an all aluminum 4-stroke, fuel-injected, single cylinder, 125cc engine. This new-generation Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) engine is designed to be powerful yet still fuel-efficient, capable of achieving 53.50km/L (based on the World Motorcycle Test Cycle). The Burgman street produces 8.7 PS at 6,750 rpm, while max torque is at 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
Bringing it to a stop is a combined brake system with controls both front and rear brakes with just one level for better performance and control.
All the important info can be seen in its fully-digital instrument panel. It integrates a digital clock, fuel gauge, as well as oil change indicator. There’s also a dual trip meter built-in.
The Burgman Street comes in Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray and Glass Sparkle Black. It’s priced at PhP 76,900 and will be available in showrooms this November.

Motorcycles for sale in the Philippines are very affordable and reasonable, at least for me. I'm a big fan of these two wheelers. I really like driving one from time to time.
