Colour customisation program for Yamaha MT-15 launched
Yamaha India recently announced the launch of a 'colour customisation' programme for its Yamaha MT 15 range of bikes in India. The Japanese automaker's new service offering finds its inspiration in the approval received by customers for the new Ice Fluo-Vermillion colour option now available with the MT 15 range. The two-wheeler manufacturer goes on to explain the aim of this new initiative will be to win over young customers into the world of MT 15. The campaign, christened 'Customize your Warrior', is now available across the country albeit only for new purchases.

- New buyers will be able to build a unique colour for their MT-15 by choosing from 11 combinations.
- The bikes in India will be manufactured by Yamaha on the basis of orders received.
- Deliveries of these customised Yamaha MT-15 units will start from January 2021. However, deliveries of the model with the Neon Green wheel will start from March 2021.
- With this new customisation service, the Yamaha bike in India is now available in 14 unique colours. It must be noted the three existing standard colours will be readily available at the dealerships.

Available with a price tag of ₹1.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Yamaha MT 15 comes powered by a 155 cc liquid-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected engine along with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system on a Delta box frame. The engine, paired to a six-speed gearbox, belts out 18 bhp at 10,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 14.1 Nm at 8,500 rpm.
