Yamaha have given their NMax and D’elight 125 scooters a major overhaul for 2021. The NMax gets a whole new look, Euro5-compliant engine with stop-start technology. The upgraded frame also allows for a larger 11-litre fuel tank and Yamaha claim the super commuter can now cover an impressive 300 miles between fill-ups.
The NMax also comes equipped with MyRide connectivity, allowing you to see information like the oil and battery condition of your scooter through the Yamaha app or LCD dash. It also gets Yamaha’s keyless ignition system.
As with the new Honda PCX125 we saw earlier in 2020, the NMax now comes equipped with traction control as well as the ABS already fitted to the previous model.
The D’Elight also gets the Euro5 engine and a new look. The D’Elight weighs in at just 101kg wet and should come in at under £3k. The NMax is expected to cost around £3200.
