Honda Thailand Unveils Gundam-Inspired Z Series Mini Motorcycles - HYPEBEAST

pret.indah.link

Honda Thailand is bringing Gundam-themed motorcycles into the market. The bikes will be part of the Honda Z series, also colloquially known as “Monkey” bikes, a line of minibikes first introduced in 1964. The nickname “Monkey” stems from the cramped posture a rider exhibits when seated on the bike’s small frame.

The upcoming bikes are modeled after the RX-78-2 Mobile Suit and the MS-06S Char’s Zaku II from Gundam — the former, with a glossy blue color scheme; and the latter, red. “GUNDAM” branding is also stamped on the bike’s fuel tank and air filter cover so riders can be certain that the bikes are the result of a proper partnership and that the colorways aren’t just mere design inspirations. Each bike has 125cc and comes with a special collector’s storage box, speakers, a Gundam model and an acrylic stand.

Though no official release dates have been revealed, have a look at Honda’s Gundam-inspired Z series above, expected to hit the market at ฿129,900 THB (approximately $4,314 USD) — only 125 units of each bike have been made.

If you like motorcycles, here’s a look at BMW’s 165-horsepower Motorrad’s 2021 S 1000 R.
