Honda recently filed a trademark application with the USPTO for the name "Prologue" on April 8, 2021. The filing is pretty specific, covering "land vehicles, namely, automobiles, battery electric vehicles, and structural parts for the foregoing." Prologue seems like a cool name for the start of an electric sports car era, but it could easily cover a more mainstream EV.
We'd love to see something similar to the above patent images in the form of a mid-battery sports car. Honda previously showed off a similar car called the Sports Vision Gran Turismo (pictured below), but it was only drivable in the Gran Turismo video game series.
