After the Le Mans GP, where he finished in a respectable seventh position, Takaaki Nakagami talked about the difficulties experienced in the race, with the rear traction deserving a particular note, after the had said before that it was as if he were trying to ride on ice.

‘In dry conditions we have speed and I feel very comfortable with the bike and we have good speed. With the wet floor I have no sensations with the rear traction, especially when braking and when cornering, even though when I exit the curves I feel good. At the entrance to the apex of the curve we are having difficulties and as you could see, in Warm Up, Pol [Espargaro] and Marc [Marquez] crashed at exactly the same point on curve three and at the same moment had problems in many other laps’, the rider told to journalists after the FranceGP.

And in the end, he made an appeal to the manufacturer: ‘In general I believe that the Honda family has to understand what is going on in wet conditions and we need to find a solution for the future’.
