Repsol Honda, as well as its satellite LCR, are finding the 2021 MotoGP season very difficult to compete with. A very different scenario to that which existed prior to Marc Márquez’s extended injury absence, in which the RC213V was, at least in his hands, the target to beat.
Quoted by motosan.es Ducati CEO Gigi Dall’Igna refused to go into detail on the situation of his Japanese rival, considering it complicated to make such an assessment, and also that it is not a priority for him:
- It’s always difficult to talk about the opponents. I don’t have the elements to evaluate what they did during Marc Márquez’s absence, and where the problem really lies. I already have too many problems to think about.
