Yamaha have committed to a European test team with Cal Crutchlow for the 2021 MotoGP season. However, this Monday the structure was not present at the official test day in Barcelona, with only the competition team present.
Maverick Viñales, who led the timesheet, told the press that he did not know the reason for this absence, referring the question to those at Yamaha who are in charge of such decisions:
- Basically I don’t know why the test team is not here. I really don’t know, so I can’t answer that. I think you should ask Maio [Meregalli] or whoever is in charge.
