With the recent launch of the new FZ-X, Yamaha has made it clear that it will offer Bluetooth connectivity as an option throughout its Indian lineup. In this regard, the company has updated its lineup of scooters, including the Fascino Fi 125 and Ray ZR with Bluetooth capabilities.

The updated scooter will be available in a few days. Yamaha currently offers this feature in the full range of FZs, including the FZ Fi, FZ-X, and FZ25. After the bike maker launches the updated scooter, we will extend these new features to our flagship models, the R15 and MT15. The schedule for these models to take advantage of this feature has not yet been clarified.

Yamaha Connect App

You can pair your rider’s smartphone with your bike’s instrument console via the Yamaha Motorcycle App using a Bluetooth connection. There are two iterations of this app available in India-Connect X and Y-Connect. The former provides features such as boarding history, response, battery voltage, parking records, incoming calls, SMS and email alerts.

The Y Connect version is a more premium alternative to the former, which offers all the standard technologies offered by ConnectX, along with maintenance recommendations, fuel consumption, malfunction notifications, rotating dashboards, phone battery level indicators, and more. is.

Flagship Motorcycles-MT15 and R15 will be available in this version of Yamaha Connect. This makes the bike a more lucrative and modern package, but these updates are expected to increase the price of these models as well.

FZ-X accessories

Apart from its launch, Yamaha also announced a number of official accessories for the new FZ-X motorcycle. These include seat covers, fuel tank pads, bike covers, chrome-decorated rear-view mirrors, LED turn indicators, rear footrests, engine guards and prices range from Rs 300 to Rs 1,490. The starting price of the FZ-X is 1.17 larks, which is about 12,000 rupees higher than the standard 150cc FZ model.

Yamaha currently has only seven models in its Indian lineup. It is one of the few mass retailers in India that exports more models than it sells in the domestic market. This is because we have a large selection of models in our export lineup.

In May 2021, 11,613 units were sold domestically and 17,512 units were exported overseas. Yamaha plans to expand its Indian lineup in the future, but there is no confirmation from Japanese brands at this time.
